Get ready for the adventure of a lifetime as we journey through one of the most captivating and diverse countries in the world! Did you know that Turkey is one of the few countries that straddles two continents? This curated group trip blends iconic sights, rich traditions, delicious cuisine, and moments of true relaxation into one unforgettable itinerary.
Our adventure begins in Istanbul, the cultural and historical heart of Turkey. We'll immerse ourselves in the city’s rich tapestry of civilizations as we wander through the majestic Hagia Sophia, admire the intricate beauty of the Blue Mosque, and get lost in the buzzing alleys of the Grand Bazaar.
Next, we fly to the dreamlike landscapes of Cappadocia. At sunrise, you'll have a chance to float above fairy chimneys on a hot air balloon ride. Explore ancient underground cities and cave dwellings, and visit the awe-inspiring Göreme Open-Air Museum. A highlight of our stay will be attending a Whirling Dervish ceremony, a deeply spiritual Sufi tradition that is as moving as it is unforgettable.
From there, we’ll fly to Izmir and spend the remaining time of the trip along the Aegean Sea. Explore the ancient marvels of Ephesus, one of the best-preserved classical cities in the world. We'll walk the same marble streets once tread by Roman emperors, admire the Library of Celsus, and visit the peaceful House of the Virgin Mary, nestled in the nearby hills.
Our journey continues as we drive to Bodrum, renowned for its whitewashed buildings and bustling atmosphere. Explore Bodrum Castle, built in the 15th century, then take in the chic energy of sun soaked harbors, bustling bazaar, and a vibrant nightlife. To top it off, we'll visit a local winery for a tasting with a view.
We'll wrap up our adventure by driving to Fethiye, home to turquoise waters and laid back beach vibes. Relax at the world-famous Ölüdeniz Beach and finish our trip enjoying a boat ride around islands and the beautiful Butterfly Valley. As the sun sets we'll raise a glass together and cheers to an amazing trip!
